Exodus 28:20
ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರುಲ್ಲ ಗೋಮೇಧಕ ವಜ್ರಗಳಿರಬೇಕು. ಇವು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಜವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದವುಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಆತನ ದೇಹವು ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಮುಖವು ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಪೀತರತ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ದೀಪದಂತೆ ಇದ್ದವು. ಅವನ ತೋಳುಗಳೂ ಕಾಲುಗಳೂ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಾಂತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು.

ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾತನು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ ಪದ್ಮರಾಗ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪಚ್ಚೆಯಂತೆ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಳೆ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಇತ್ತು.

ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಇತ್ತು; ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದು ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತದಂತೆ ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಡವು ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತದಿಂದ ಆಗಿತ್ತು; ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಶುದ್ಧ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಿರುವ ಸೋಸಿದ ಭಂಗಾರವೇ.
