Exodus 24:8
ತರು ವಾಯ ಮೋಶೆಯು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವು ಇದೇ ಅಂದನು.

ಮೋಶೆಯು ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೋಗುಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ದನು ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿದನು.
