ಯೆಹೋಶು ವನು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಲಿಬ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದನು.

ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಸದೆ ಅದನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
