ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಎಣಿಸದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸನು ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.

ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು, ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬೆಲಿಯಾಳನ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾದ ನಾಬಾಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಮನ ಇಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ನಾಬಾಲನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವನು, ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನವು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವದು. ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ನೀನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
