ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ--ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿ ಯೋವಾಬನ ಹೊಲವಿದೆ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜವೆ ಗೋಧಿ ಅದೆ; ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಸೇವಕರು ಆ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.
