2 Kings 9:6
ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಇವನು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಲು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇ ಕಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಲು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂಬದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಕದವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.

ಇದರಿಂದ ಆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು--ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದ ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವು ಈ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಯವನಾದ ಪೌಲನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಇವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 5:20
ಆದರೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೋ ಆಗ ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಕಠಿಣವಾಯಿತು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನ ಘನವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರು;
ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 4:32
ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವು ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವದು, ನಿನಗೆ ಎತ್ತುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವರು. ಮಹೋ ನ್ನತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನಾಳುವನೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನೆಂದೂ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಕಾಲಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗುವವು.

ಈ ವಿಷಯವು ಪಾಲಕರ ಕಟ್ಟಡದಿಂದಲೂ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಮಹೋ ನ್ನತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದವರಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂದೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಚರಾದವರನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆಂದೂ ಜೀವಂತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಸಾರಿದನು.

ಆತನು ಕಾಲವನ್ನೂ ಸಮಯವನ್ನೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದು-- ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಯಕನಾಗ ಮಾಡಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ಕೊಂಡು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ಕರ್ತನು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸಲು ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದಳು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ನೀನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಾಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಜನರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಲೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಬರೆಯಲೂ ಆಗದು.
