ಆಗ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾ ರರು ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸೆದರು; ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಚೆಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಬಹು ಗಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ದುಃಖ ಪಡಿಸಿ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವರು.

ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಮೋ ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದ ಗಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋರಾ ಮನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಯೇಹುವು ಪೂರ್ಣಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಯೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಅವನ ತೋಳುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹೊಡೆದನು. ಬಾಣ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂರಿ ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಅವನು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮುದುರಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಬಿದ್ದನು.
