ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದರು; ಹೇಗಂದರೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳಿಗೂ ಶತಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು. ವರುಷದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಂಗಳು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುವ ವರ್ಗ ಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದ ಅವರ ಪಾರುಪತ್ಯಗಾರರೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

1 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊ ಮೋನನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮೃದುವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲಸವು ದೊಡ್ಡದು; ಈ ಅರಮನೆ ಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ.
