ಆಹಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ತೋಟವಾದ ಉಜ್ಜನ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿ ಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಮೋನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
