ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿನಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮಾತು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸು ವೆನು.

ನೀನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಈ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಏನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಕಲ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರ ಮಾಡಿ,

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಿ ರುವಾಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಕರುಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ನಾನು ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡುವೆನು.

ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಯುಗ ಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.

ಅವನುನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--
1 ಅರಸುಗಳು 8:20
ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು, ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾತು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಇಗೋ, ಸಮಾ ಧಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವನು; ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಾಗುವದು; ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅವನಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾದಿಡುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೃಢವಾಗಿರುವದು.
