ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗ ಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ತಾಮ್ರದ ತೂಕವು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಮೊಳೆಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲ ದಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ತಾಮ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು;

ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ತಾಮ್ರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಇದೆ. ಎದ್ದು ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡು; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ.

ಹೀಗೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಈ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.ಆ ತಾಮ್ರದ ತೂಕ ತಿಳಿಯಕೂಡದಷ್ಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.
