ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಲೋಕದ ತರ್ಕವಾದಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ದೇವರು ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲವೇ?

ಆಗ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಬರೆಯು ವವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಬುರುಜು ಗಳನ್ನು (ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು) ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.

ಆದರೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣರಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೇ ನಾವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅದು ಇಹಲೋಕದ ಜ್ಞಾನವಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಇಹ ಲೋಕಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.

ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು; ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳ ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರ ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಮಾರ್ಗವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲೆಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನು ತನ್ನ ಯೋಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಏರಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಿ ಉರ್ಲುಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

ಆಗ ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಿಂತ ಅರ್ಕೀಯನಾದ ಹೂಷೈಯ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು ಅಂದರು. ತಾನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು.

ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ಒಬ್ಬನು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇತ್ತು.

ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋ ಮನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಸಂಚಿನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾ ನೆಂದು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ದಾವೀದನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚುತನವಾಗ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 19:11
ಚೋಯನಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ನಿಜ ವಾಗಿ ಮೂರ್ಖರು, ಫರೋಹನ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಸಲಹೆ ಗಾರರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನವೇ. ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಮಗನೆಂದು ಪುರಾತನ ರಾಜವಂಶಿಯನು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?
