ವಿಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಇರು; ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ದುಸ್ತು ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಹಾರ ವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಲೇವಿಯನು ಹೋದನು. ಲೇವಿಯು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಪಟ್ಟನು.

and a priest, וּלְכֹהֵן֒ kōhēn koh-HANE
and I וְאָֽנֹכִ֨י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
will give אֶֽתֶּן nātan na-TAHN
לְךָ֜
thee ten עֲשֶׂ֤רֶת ʿeśer eh-SER
of silver כֶּ֙סֶף֙ kesep keh-SEF
by the year, לַיָּמִ֔ים yôm yome
and a suit וְעֵ֥רֶךְ ʿērek ay-REK
of apparel, בְּגָדִ֖ים beged beh-ɡED
and thy victuals. וּמִֽחְיָתֶ֑ךָ miḥyâ meek-YA
