Joshua 9:16
ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವರೆಂದೂ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರೆಂದೂ ಕೇಳಿ ದರು.

| they had made | כָּֽרְת֥וּ | kārĕtû | ka-reh-TOO |
| league a | לָהֶ֖ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| with them, that they heard | בְּרִ֑ית | bĕrît | beh-REET |
| that | וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֗וּ | wayyišmĕʿû | va-yeesh-meh-OO |
| they | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| their were | קְרֹבִ֥ים | qĕrōbîm | keh-roh-VEEM |
| neighbours, | הֵם֙ | hēm | hame |
| and that they | אֵלָ֔יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV |
| dwelt | וּבְקִרְבּ֖וֹ | ûbĕqirbô | oo-veh-keer-BOH |
| among | הֵ֥ם | hēm | hame |
