ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನೆರೆಯವರೂ ಅವನು ಮೊದಲು ಕುರುಡನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರೂ-- ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಭಿಕ್ಷೆ ಬೇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನು ಇವನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದರು.
