ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನಾನು ತುಂಬಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದು ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಯಿತು; ಅದನ್ನು ದೂರ ಇರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಕೂಟ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಗಂಡನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಮುದುಕನು ದಿನ ತುಂಬಿದವನ ಸಂಗ ಡಲೂ ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತ ನಾದ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೃಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಲದ ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಫಲದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯೂ ಹೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ಅದು ಉರಿಯುವದು ಆರಿಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
