ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ನಿಸ್ರೋಕನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಅದ್ರಮ್ಮೆಲೆಕನೂ ಸರೆಚೆರನೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಅರರಾಟ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸರ್ಹದ್ದೋನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
Judges 6:5
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿದನಗಳೂ ಡೇರೆ ಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಿಡಿತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರು.
