Jeremiah 49:18
ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರ ಅವುಗಳ ಸವಿಾಪ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪುತ್ರನಾದರೂ ತಂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ದೇವರು ಸೊದೋಮನ್ನೂ ಗೊಮೋರವನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ಆದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ನರಪುತ್ರನಾದರೂ ತಂಗುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
