Jeremiah 36:22
ಆಗ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನು ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಗ್ಗಿಷ್ಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಅವನು--ನಾನು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊರೆದು ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಹಲಿಗೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚುವವನಿಗೂ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ಕೀಮನ ಐದನೇ ವರುಷದ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪವಾಸವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು.
