Isaiah 39
1 ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲದಾನನ ಮಗನೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಮೆರೋದಕ ಬಲದಾನನೆಂಬವನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಗುಣಹೊಂದಿದನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
2 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರ, ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯ, ಪರಿಮಳತೈಲ ಮೊದ ಲಾದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳಿರುವ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆಯುಧಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಭಂಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲ ವನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದಿದ್ದ ವಸ್ತುವು ಒಂದೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3 ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು, ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳಿದರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ಅವರು ಬಹುದೂರ ದೇಶವಾದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಅವನನ್ನು--ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವದೆಲ್ಲ ವನ್ನು ಅವರು ನೋಡಿದರು; ನನ್ನ ಭಂಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಏನೂ ಇರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
5 ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ--ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು--
6 ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾದ ದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ದಿವಸವು ಬರು ವದು. ಇಲ್ಲೇನೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
7 ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಂಥ ನೀನು ಪಡೆದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು; ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವರು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
8 ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ಹೇಗೂ ನನ್ನ (ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ) ಜೀವಮಾನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಸತ್ಯವು ಇರುವವು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಶಾಯ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆ ಅಂದನು.
1 At that time Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
3 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
4 Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
5 Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:
6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
7 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
8 Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
Isaiah 6 in Tamil and English
1 ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଉଷିୟଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବର୍ଷ ରେ ମୁଁ ମାରେପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ହଲିେ। ସେ ଏକ ଉନ୍ନତ୍ତ ଓ ଚମତ୍କାର ସିଂହାସନ ଉପ ରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ରାଜ ପୋଷାକର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିଥିଲା।
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ରେ ସରାଫଗଣ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ସରାଫଙ୍କର ଛଅଟି ପକ୍ଷ ଥିଲା। ସହେି ଦବଦେୂତଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦୁଇଟି ପକ୍ଷ ରେ ମୁଖକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦୁଇଟି ପକ୍ଷ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାଦକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଥିଲେ, ଏବଂ ଉଡ଼ିବା ରେ ଦୁଇଟି ପକ୍ଷ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିଲେ।
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 ସମାନେେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଡ଼ାକି କହୁଥିଲେ, ସର୍ବ ଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧର୍ମମଯ, ଧର୍ମମଯ, ଧର୍ମମଯ। ତାଙ୍କର ମହିମା ସମଗ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ବ୍ଯାପିୟାଇଛି।' ସହେି ଦବଦେୂତମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ବର ଅତି ଉଚ୍ଚ ଥିଲା।
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 ସେତବେେଳେ ଘାଷେଣାକାରୀଙ୍କ ଉଚ୍ଚରବ ରେ ଦ୍ବାରବନ୍ଧ କମ୍ପିତ ହେଲା ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ଧୂମ ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା।
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 ସେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇେ କହିଲି, ହାୟ ! ହାୟ ! ମୁଁ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇଗଲିେ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଏତେ ଅପବିତ୍ର ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କହିବାକୁ ଅ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ। ପୁରି ଏପରି ଅଶୁଚି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବାସ କରୁଛି ଯେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କହିବାକୁ ଅୟୋଗ୍ଯ। ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖୁଛି।'
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
6 ସଠାେ ରେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପ ରେ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନି ଥିଲା। ସହେି ଦୂତଗଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ଚିମୁଟା ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ କୋଇଲା ଆଣିଲା ଓ ସହେି ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ଧରି ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ରହିଆସିଲା।
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 ସହେି ସରାଫ ଦବଦେୂତ ସହେି ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ମାରେ ମୁଖକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କଲା। ତା'ପ ରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ ! ମୁଁ ଏହି ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଙ୍ଗାର ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କଲି କାରଣ ଏହାଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅପରାଧ ଦୂରିଭୂତ ହେଲା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହେଲ।'
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 ତା'ପ ରେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସ୍ବର ଶୁଣିଲି। ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ କାହାକୁ ପଠାଇବି ? କିଏ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ୟିବ?'
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 ତା'ପ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ୟାଅ ଏବଂ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, ଯଦିଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣୁଛ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କିଛି ବୁଝୁ ନାହଁ। ଯଦିଓ ଦେଖୁଛ, କିଛି ଶିଖୁ ନାହଁ।'
And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କର। ସମାନେେ ଯାହା ଶୁଣୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଯାହା ଦେଖୁଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ଯେପରି ବୁଝିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ସହେିପରି ଭାବରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଏହା ନ'କର ସମାନେେ ଯାହା ଶୁଣୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଯାହା ଦେଖୁଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ବୁଝି ପାରିବେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସର୍ବାନ୍ତକରଣ ରେ ବୁଝିପାରିବେ। ଏହା କଲେ ସମାନେେ ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିବେ ଓ ମାଠାରୁେ ସୁସ୍ଥତା ପାଇବେ।'
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11 ତା'ପ ରେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କଲି, ପ୍ରଭୋ ! ମୁଁ କେତକୋଳ ଏହା କରିବି ?'
Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସବୁଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦୂରକୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦବେେ। ଦେଶ ରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଜନଶୂନ୍ଯ ହବେ।
And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13 ମାତ୍ର ଏକ ଦଶମାଂଶ ଲୋକ ରହିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ପାଇବେ। ଏହି ଦଶମାଂସ ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିବେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପାଇବେ। ଏମାନେ ଆଲୋନଗଛ ସଦୃଶ ହବେେ। ଆଲୋନ ଗଛ ହଣା ହେଲା ପ ରେ ତା'ର ଗଣ୍ଡି ଯେପରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ରହେ, କର୍ତ୍ତିତ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ପବିତ୍ର ବୀଜ।
But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
