Habakkuk 3
1 ಶಿಗ್ಯೋನೋತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಹಬಕ್ಕೂಕನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ. ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
2 ಕರ್ತನೇ, ವರುಷ ಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀವಿಸಮಾಡು. ವರುಷಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಯಮಾಡು, ರೌದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡು;
3 ದೇವರು ತೇಮಾನಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು ಪಾರಾನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದನು. ಸೆಲಾ. ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿತು: ಆತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿ ಸಿತು.
4 ಆತನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಹಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆತನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳು ಬಂದವು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
5 ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಾಡ್ಯವು ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆತನ ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಉರಿ ಕೆಂಡಗಳು ಹೊರಟವು.
6 ಆತನು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅಳೆದನು. ಆತನು ನೋಡಿ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಚದುರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ನಡುಗಿ ದವು; ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳೇ.
7 ಕೂಷಾನಿನ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದೊಳಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ದೆನು; ಮಿದ್ಯಾನಿನ ದೇಶದ ತೆರೆಗಳು ನಡುಗಿದವು.
8 ಕರ್ತನು ನದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡನೋ? ನದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವಿತ್ತೋ? ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರ ವಿತ್ತೋ? ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುದುರೆ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ರಥಗ ಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿದಿಯೋ?
9 ನೀನು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಯಿಟ್ಟ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಬರಿದಾ ಯಿತು. ಸೆಲಾ. ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸೀಳಿದಿ.
10 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಡುಗಿದವು; ಜಲ ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ಹಾದು ಹೋಯಿತು; ಅಗಾಧವು ತನ್ನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು; ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತು.
11 ಸೂರ್ಯ ಚಂದ್ರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ನಿವಾಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕದಲದೆ ನಿಂತುಬಿಟ್ಟವು. ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಬೆಳಕಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಈಟಿಯು ಮಿಂಚುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಟವು.
12 ನೀನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದುಹೋಗಿ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀ.
13 ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೊಸ್ಕರವೂ ನೀನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಆಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮನೆಯ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. ಸೆಲಾ.
14 ಅವನ ದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ತನ್ನ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದೀ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆ ಬಂದರು; ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಇರುವದು.
15 ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಹಾಜಲ ಗಳ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಡೆದುಹೋದಿ.
16 ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ತಳಮಳಗೊಂಡಿತು, ಆ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅದರಿದವು; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೊಳೆಯುವಿಕೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿತು, ನಾನು ನಿಂತ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಡುಗಿದೆನು; ಆತನು ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕೂಡ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುವನು.
17 ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವು ಚಿಗುರ ದಿದ್ದರೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣ್ಣು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರಗಳ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯು ನಿಂತುಹೋದರೂ ಹೊಲಗಳು ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡದಿದ್ದರೂ ಹಟ್ಟಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಂದೆಗಳು ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಗೋದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ
18 ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿ ಸುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡು ವೆನು.
19 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಲವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ಮಾಡುವನು. ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದದ್ದು: ನನ್ನ ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.

2 O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
3 God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
5 Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.
6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 Was the Lord displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
9 Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
14 Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

1 যিহোয়াকীমের রাজত্বকালে বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর যিহূদায় আসেন| তিন বছর তাঁর বশ্যতা স্বীকার করার পর যিহোয়াকীম তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেন|
In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 প্রভু বাবিলীয, অরামীয়, মোয়াবীয়, অম্মোনীয়দের দলকে যিহোয়াকীমের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করিযে তাঁকে ধ্বংস করতে পাঠিয়েছিলেন| প্রভু তাঁর সেবক ভাব্বাদীদের মুখ দিয়ে করা ভবিষ্যত্বাণী অনুযায়ীএই সমস্ত শএুদের যিহূদা ধ্বংস করার জন্য পাঠান|
And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3 এই ভাবেই প্রভু যিহূদাকে তাঁর চোখের সামনে থেকে সরিয়ে দেবার পরিকল্পনা করেন| মনঃশির পাপাচরণের জন্যই প্রভু এ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলেন|
Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4 মনঃশি বহু নিরীহ লোককে হত্যা করে জেরুশালেম রক্তে পরিপূর্ণ করেছিলেন যা প্রভু কখনও ক্ষমা করেন নি|
And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
5 যিহোয়াকীম অন্যান্য য়ে সমস্ত কাজ করেছিলেন সে সবই ‘যিহূদার রাজাদের ইতিহাস’ গ্রন্থে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে|
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6 যিহোয়াকীমের মৃত্যুর পর তাঁকে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে সমাধিস্থ করা হয়| তাঁর পরে, তাঁর পুত্র যিহোয়াখীন নতুন রাজা হলেন|
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
7 এদিকে বাবিল-রাজ মিশরের খাঁড়ি থেকে শুরু করে ফরাত্ নদী পর্য়ন্ত সমস্ত অঞ্চল দখল করায মিশর-রাজ তাঁর দেশ ছেড়ে আর বেরোনোর চেষ্টাই করেন নি| এই সমস্ত অঞ্চলই আগে তাঁর শাসনাধীন ছিল|
And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8 যিহোয়াখীন 18 বছর বযসে রাজা হবার পর মাত্র তিন মাস জেরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করেছিলেন| তাঁর মা ছিলেন জেরুশালেমের ইল্নাথনের কন্যা নহুষ্টা|
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9 যিহোয়াখীন তাঁর পিতার মতই প্রভু য়ে সমস্ত কাজ করতে বারণ করেছিলেন, সেই সব কাজ করেছিলেন|
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.
10 সেই সময়, নবূখদ্নিত্সরের সেনাপতিরা এসে চারপাশ থেকে জেরুশালেম ঘিরে ফেলেছিলেন|
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11 তারপর নবূখদ্নিত্সর বয়ং শহরে আসেন|
And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12 যিহূদার রাজা যিহোয়াখীন তাঁর মা, সেনাপতিদের, নেতাদের ও আধিকারিকদের সকলকে নিয়ে তাঁর সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেলে বাবিলরাজ তাঁকে বন্দী করেন| নবূখদ্নিত্সরের শাসন কালের অষ্টম বছরে এই ঘটনা ঘটেছিল|
And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13 নবূখদ্নিত্সর জেরুশালেমের প্রভুর মন্দির ও রাজপ্রাসাদ থেকে সমস্ত সম্পদ অপহরণ করে নিয়ে যান| রাজা শলোমন প্রভুর মন্দিরে য়ে সমস্ত সোনার থালা বসিযেছিলেন, প্রভুর ভবিষ্যত্বাণী অনুযাযীই নবূখদ্নিত্সর মন্দির থেকে সে সমস্ত থালা খুলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
14 নবূখদ্নিত্সর নেতা ও ধনীলোক সহ জেরুশালেম থেকে 10,000 ব্যক্তিকে বন্দী করে নিয়ে যান| হতদরিদ্র লোক ছাড়া, কারিগর থেকে শ্রমিক সমস্ত লোককেই তিনি বন্দী করেন|
And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15 রাজা যিহোয়াখীন ও তাঁর মা, স্ত্রীদের, আধিকারিক ও প্রতিপত্তিশালী ব্যক্তিদের বন্দী করে বাবিলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16 মোট 7,000 দক্ষ সৈনিক ও 1,000 কুশলী কারিগরকে বাবিলরাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর বাবিলে বন্দী করে নিয়ে যান|
And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17 বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর, যিহোয়াখীনের কাকা মত্তনিয়ের নাম পালেট সিদিকিয় রেখে তাঁকে রাজা করেছিলেন|
And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18 সিদিকিয় 21 বছর বযসে রাজা হয়ে 11 বছর জেরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করেন| তাঁর মা ছিলেন লিব্নার য়িরমিযের কন্যা হমূটল|
Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19 যিহোয়াখীনের মতই সিদিকিয়, প্রভু যা কিছু করতে বারণ করেছিলেন সে সমস্ত কাজই করেছিলেন|
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20 জেরুশালেম ও যিহূদার ওপর প্রভু এত রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন য়ে প্রভু এই দুই দেশকে তাঁর চোখের সামনে থেকে মুছে ফেলেন|সিদিকিয় বাবিল-রাজের কর্ত্তত্ব অস্বীকার করেছিলেন|
For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
