ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ ಪಶು ಗಳೂ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳೂ ನಾಶವಾದವು. ಅವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಅಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು. ನೋಹನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾವೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಉಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
