Genesis 47:13
ಆದರೆ ಬರವು ಅತಿ ಘೋರವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ದೇಶವೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾದವು.

| land the that so | וַתֵּ֜לַהּ | wattēlah | va-TAY-la |
| of Egypt | אֶ֤רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| and all the land | מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ | miṣrayim | meets-RA-YEEM |
| Canaan of | וְאֶ֣רֶץ | wĕʾereṣ | veh-EH-rets |
| fainted | כְּנַ֔עַן | kĕnaʿan | keh-NA-an |
| by reason of | מִפְּנֵ֖י | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
