ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಬರಗಾಲದ ಏಳು ವರುಷ ಗಳು ಆರಂಭವಾದವು. ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರವಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ವಿತ್ತು.
