Genesis 21:17
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ದೇವದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹಾಗರಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಹಾಗರಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯಥೆಯೇನು? ಅಂಜಬೇಡ; ದೇವರು ಹುಡುಗನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಅವನು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

2 Kings 13:23
ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಇಸಾಕನ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದನು. ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಬಂದು--ಅಬ್ರಾಮನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾದ ಬಹುಮಾನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
