ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ

ನಮ್ಮ ಸೆರೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಆರಂಭದ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಒಡೆದು ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ, ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ವರುಷದ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿತು.

ನಮ್ಮ ಸೆರೆಯ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಐದನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನೊಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ವರ್ಷದ, ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
