Ezekiel 18:13
ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಲಾಭ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು ಬದುಕುವನೋ? ಅವನು ಬದುಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವನು ಈ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವನು ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇರುವದು.

Leviticus 20:9
ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವ ವನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು; ಯಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವನೋ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇರುವದು.
Exodus 22:25
ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಸಾಲವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಹೊರಿಸ ಬೇಡ.

ಯಾವನು ಕಹಳೆಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆಗ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇರುವದು.

ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿ ವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಬದುಕುವನೇ? ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿ ರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀತಿಯು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದಲೂ ಪಾಪ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವನು.
