Exodus 33:5
ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ನೀವು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರು, ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೋ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು--ನೀವು ಬಗ್ಗದ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರು, ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೋ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
