Exodus 32:19
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಆ ಕರುವನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ನಾಟ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಕೋಪ ಗೊಂಡು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

Exodus 32:4
ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿಯಿಂದ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಎರಕಹೊಯ್ದ ಕರುವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇವೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ಅಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಹೋ ದರಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ನಾಟ್ಯವಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹೋದರು.
