Exodus 20:5
ನೀನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಬಾರದು, ಸೇವಿಸಲೂ ಬಾರದು. ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನು ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೂ ಮೂರನೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
