Exodus 12:12

ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಸಿಂಹಾ ಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡ ಫರೋಹನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗನು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೆರೆಯವನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಸುಮಾರು ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವೆನು.
