Exodus 10:15
ಅವು ಭೂ ಮುಖವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ದೇಶವು ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೊಪ್ಪನ್ನೂ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಮರಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು. ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹೊಲದ ಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹಸುರಾದದ್ದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
