ಕರ್ತನು ಸೌಲನ ಮನೆಯವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ನೀನು ರಕ್ತದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡಿ ಅಂದನು.
