ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣ ದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವನು.

ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.
