ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ ಶಾಪವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವದೆಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿ

ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳ ಪುರುಷನಾದರೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾದರೂ ಕುಟುಂಬವಾದರೂ ಗೋತ್ರವಾದರೂ ಇರಬಾರದು. ವಿಷವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಚಿಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳೆ ಸುವ ಬೇರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬಾರದು.
Deuteronomy 27:1
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಪಾ ಡಬೇಕು.

ನೀವು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬೀಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
Genesis 4:14
ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಈ ದಿನ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯು ವವನೂ ತಿರುಗಾಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವರು ಅಂದನು.
