Deuteronomy 1:36
ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು. ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

ಕಾಲೇಬನು--ಕಿರ್ಯತೆಸೇಫೆರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯಾದ ಅಕ್ಷಾ ಳನ್ನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
