Leviticus 7:19
ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು; ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು. ಮಾಂಸದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನ ಬಹುದು.

ದೇವರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಹಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕೆಡಿಸಬಾರದು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳೂ ಶುದ್ಧವೇ ಹೌದು; ಆದರೆ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ತಿನ್ನುವವನಿಗೆ ಅದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ--ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿರಿ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಯಾವದನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟದಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಶುದ್ಧವೇ; ಆದರೆ ಮಲಿನವಾದವರಿಗೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ದವರಿಗೂ ಯಾವದೂ ಶುದ್ಧವಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಮಲಿನವಾಗಿವೆ.
