ಆಗ ಯೋಷೀಯನು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನ ರಿಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸನ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಿಂದಲೇ

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
