ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸಿದ ನಿಜವಾದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಮರುದಿನ ಅವನ ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಯವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ
