ಆಗ ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಮಹಾಭೂಕಂಪವುಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಿ ವಾರಗಳು ಕದಲಿದವು. ಅದೇ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕದಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆರೆದವು, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬೇಡಿಗಳು ಕಳಚಿಬಿದ್ದವು.
