ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಹಾರದಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಬೇತ್ಹೋರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅಜೇಕ ಮಕ್ಕೇದದ ವರೆಗೂ ಹೊಡೆದನು.

ಆದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು; ಅವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವನು.
