Jeremiah 44:28
ಆದರೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು; ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಉಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ನಿಲ್ಲುವದೋ ಅವರ ಮಾತು ನಿಲ್ಲುವದೋ ಎಂಬದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯರೂ ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪ ಸುಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನದರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತೇವೆಂದೂ ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸುವೆವೆಂದೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಈಡೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸುವಿರಿ.

Jeremiah 44:16
ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
