Jeremiah 44:27
ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರುವೆನು; ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮುಗಿದು ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬರದಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು.

ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪ ಸುಡುವ ದನ್ನೂ ಪಾನದರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯುವ ದನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾದೆವು.
