Jeremiah 40:14
ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಾಲೀ ಸನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆಯೋ? ಆದರೆ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಕುಮಾರ ರಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಯೋನಾಥಾನನೂ ತನ್ಹುಮೆ ತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೆರಾಯನೂ ನೆಟೋಫದವನಾದ ಏಫಯನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಮಾಕಾನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಜನ್ಯ ನೀಯನೂ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
Isaiah 26:10
ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ಕನಿಕರ ತೋರಿಸಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕಲಿಯಲಾರನು. ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಅನ್ಯಾ ಯವನ್ನಾಚರಿಸುವನು ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
