Jeremiah 34:7
ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೂ ಅಜೇ ಕಕ್ಕೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗಲೇ ಹೇಳಿ ದನು. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವು.

ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಹೋಗಿ ತಾವು ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಗುವರು; ಇವು ಅವರ ಕೇಡಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Jeremiah 8:14
