Jeremiah 33:12
ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ ಪಶುಗಳೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಾಳಾದ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಲಗಿಸುವ ಕುರುಬರ ನಿವಾಸಗಳು ಇರುವವು.

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವದು ಖಂಡಿತ ಎಂದು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನೀನು ಈ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
