Acts 24:22
ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿಸಿ--ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಯಕನಾದ ಲೂಸ್ಯನು ಬಂದಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಪೌಲನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನು--ಅನೇಕ ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ರುವದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ;

ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯಳಾದ ದ್ರೂಸಿಲ್ಲಳೆಂಬ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ಬಂದು ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಬೇಕಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ದೊರೆಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಯಾದನಂತರ ಬರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವದೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಚಾರ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವಾದಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿರು ವದರಿಂದ ಸಹನೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
