2 Kings 17:15
ಕಠಿಣಪಡಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾ ಲಿಸಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವರಾಗಿ -- ನೀವು ಅವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.

| fathers, their | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| and his testimonies | אֲבוֹתָ֔ם | ʾăbôtām | uh-voh-TAHM |
| which | וְאֵת֙ | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| testified he | עֵֽדְוֹתָ֔יו | ʿēdĕwōtāyw | ay-deh-oh-TAV |
| against them; and they followed | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| הֵעִ֖יד | hēʿîd | hay-EED | |
| vanity, | בָּ֑ם | bām | bahm |
| and became vain, | וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ | wayyēlĕkû | va-YAY-leh-HOO |
| and went after | אַֽחֲרֵ֤י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| heathen the | הַהֶ֙בֶל֙ | hahebel | ha-HEH-VEL |
| that | וַיֶּהְבָּ֔לוּ | wayyehbālû | va-yeh-BA-loo |
| were round about | וְאַֽחֲרֵ֤י | wĕʾaḥărê | veh-ah-huh-RAY |
| whom concerning them, | הַגּוֹיִם֙ | haggôyim | ha-ɡoh-YEEM |
| the Lord | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| had charged | סְבִֽיבֹתָ֔ם | sĕbîbōtām | seh-vee-voh-TAHM |
| not should they that them, | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| do | צִוָּ֤ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| like them. | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| אֹתָ֔ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM | |
