ಅರಸನು ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮ ನಿಗೂ ವಿಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ದೋನನಿಗೂ ರಾಯಸದ ವನಾದ ಶಾಫಾನನಿಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಸಾಯ ನಿಗೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ--

Jeremiah 26:22
ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಐಗು ಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು, ಅಂದರೆ ಅಕ್ಬೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ನಾಥಾನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಜನರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಸಹಾಯವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇತ್ತು.

ಯೆರೆ ವಿಾಯನು ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕಸ್ದೀಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಾಬೆ ಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾ ಗುವದು.

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಾಲೀ ಸನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆಯೋ? ಆದರೆ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
