ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯೂ ಆದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಜಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
